Aylesbury Elections 1802/1804 (CD)

CD containing searchable databases
At this time a large proportion of the male population of Aylesbury were entitled to vote in the Parliamentary elections. This booklet contains the electors lists for both the 1802 election which was limited to the borough and the 1804 election which also included the 3 hundreds. Together they form a 'mini-census' for a large proportion of the male population of the area.
One of the candidates was disqualified after the 1802 elections for bribery, giving rise to the 1804 election. The booklet contains some of the background to the story.
The CD also contains a copy of the publication P003 in Adobe PDF format together with a digital reproduction of the original 1804 Poll Book.
